Gallery Artists: Andi Hirsch, Silvina Marzari, Steve Nagy
Artist Andi Hirsch:
Queen Victoria reigned a nation for 63 years with one key mantra: I will be good. In an attempt to war against evil by continuing to be good, artist Andi Hirsch uses the weapons of acrylic on canvas to spotlight the good in our world, and in our diverse people groups.
“The primary focus in all my pieces is to add beauty to the world. This is my way of waging a private, positive, non-violent war against all forms of injustice, oppression and tyranny.
My father, George Speropoulos, always took the time to point out the beauty in our varied cultures, and in the earth; for that I am truly thankful. My art is en homage to him and to the One who created our beautiful world in which we live.”
Ms. Hirsch is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. After ten years of teaching art, adjudicating art, creating art shows, and speaking on art at Educators’ Conventions, she now works with designers in creating original, custom art.

Visiting Artist, Silvina Marzari:
Having grown up surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Mendoza, Argentina and its constant backdrop of the snow-covered Andes, Silvina Marzari was destined to pursue art as her full-time passion. After her family moved to New York, she had the opportunity to study at both Fashion Institute of Technology and School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. Later, while traveling through Europe, Ms. Marzari saw her textbooks come to life in the architecture and fine art of the Old World.
“I cannot help but express my personal journey through my art. My hope is that it relates to the common denominator of all our souls: The need to be loved, to love the work that we do, and the freedom to grow into the people we were meant to be. Travel and education bring an infinite source of inspiration. I hope my art can be a part of that inspiration to our next generation.”
Hirsch Art Gallery is spotlighting Silvina Marzari’s vibrant pieces that speak about love of family, life, and work. She now resides, works, and teaches in Naples, Florida.

Visiting Artist: Steve Nagy
With a mindful balance of design and functionality, artist Steve Nagy creates art that is both beautiful and useful. Initially having pursued the sciences, Mr. Nagy graduated from Tampa Technical Institute with a degree in Engineering. However, life drew him through an easy progression of realizations, leading and landing him at his destined purpose: to create functional art.
“I find what I do to be personally liberating. Not having to stay within the confines of science nor art, I enjoy the challenge of meeting my clients’ needs by coming up with something new, something no one else has ever done. This process of melding the two hemispheres of my brain together brings forth unique pieces. I never get bored with this process nor its outcomes.”
Using Mangrove, Cypress, reclaimed metals and glass with other natural flora from his home and the Everglades, Mr. Nagy honors and celebrates native Florida through his work.
Hirsch Art Gallery will be featuring some of Steve Nagy’s pieces in the near future.
